Our History

​

After working in the industry for his aunt at Daniels and Company Perfumery for a number of years, Thomas Joseph Brennan decided to branch out and started his own company.

Brennan Aromatics started life as TJ Brennan Pty Ltd which was founded in 1952.

This started the company on its long tradition of supplying quality fragrances and essential oils.

Tom was joined by his son Brian in 1967, with Brian taking over the running of the company entirely on Tom’s retirement in 1972. 

His experience and management built the company from a small start to where it is now, servicing customers both Australia wide and overseas from our manufacturing facility in Bayswater, Victoria, Australia.

We have evolved into a modern fragrance company utilizing the latest equipment and techniques including GCMS quality control. 

The third generation of the family are now employed in both the fragrance development and administration sides of the business. 

This includes Brian’s daughter Jodie as a third generation perfumer with over 20 years of experience creating and developing fragrances.
